Hey There
Hi, I'm Michelle Murphy, the owner of Forward Fitness. I'm a REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer with a Pre and Post-Natal qualification. I specialise in helping people take those hard first steps into (or back into) exercise. I believe functional movement plays a huge part in our overall wellbeing and mental health. One of my favourite things about what I do, is watching people grow in confidence as their fitness levels improve, and how this has a hugely positive effect on other areas of their life.
Training with me - what to expect
I can't tell you exactly what to expect, as it all comes down to your individual circumstances and motivations. But what I can guarantee is a supportive and safe environment, a listening ear and a plan structured around your capabilities and goals. Your sessions will be varied, challenging and progressive; they might be tough at times, but they'll be worth the sense of achievement you'll feel at the end of each one, and in the longer term as you move towards your goals. I can educate you about nutrition to help you make long-lasting, sustainable healthy lifestyle changes. And, dare I say it, you might even have some fun!
Please don't feel put off if you're carrying an injury or have other specific needs, we can make adjustments. Also, don't worry that you're not 'fit enough,' or don't 'look the part'; everybody has to start somewhere, the important thing is that you're taking the steps to get started, as daunting as it may be.
